Pakora Contest: Cauliflower & Macaroni Pakora

PhotobucketThis recipe I have seen in a magazine long time back. I made this many times and a good snack with a difference. It takes a little time but there is no compromise with taste :). So here I am presenting my version of pakora (I twisted it by chance) :).

Ingredients: Sufficient For Two People

3/4 Cup macaroni
1 Medium sized onion sliced
2 Green chilies chopped finely
1 Cup cauliflower florets
1/2 Tsp carom/ajvain seeds
1/2 Red chili powder
A pinch of soda
1.5 Cup besan

1 tsp chat masala
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste

Method: Boil macaroni in salted water. Drain all the water and separate it.

Now mix all the ingredients except oil. Adjust salt as per the taste. Make a batter, use some water if required. Pour spoonful of batter into the hot oil and fry till they become golden brown.
Sever hot with tomato sauce and sprinkle some chat masala over them. Original recipe was just macaroni and onion, cauliflower was added by mistake. But we enjoyed with this combo :).

This I am sending to Rushina's event "Pakora Contest".
